Nightmare/Sleep Paralysis Incident 2

This one follows right after my “Helping Hand” dream which occurred on the third day of my sickness. I was feeling a lot better than I was the first two days. Not great enough to blog post or do anything productive but enough to not feel like I was going to die. It was a slow but straight forward healing process towards recovery and unlike the previous night, I was willing to fall asleep early. I woke up at midnight feeling dizzy again but not as bad as the previous days. I moved around trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in and turned on my room fan with a timer for 1 hour so I can fall asleep fresh and without any noise from the fan. My room was pitch black so I could try to sleep without any distractions. Eventually I did fall asleep again only to wake up again but around 3 AM. This time, something didn’t feel right.

I couldn’t move my body at all. It felt like I was paralyzed with the exception of my eyes which I could close and open and look around. I was laying on my left side in a fetal position. The room had this red hue to it which I had never seen before. It wasn’t bright enough to light up the whole room but it was enough to see a vague outline of my surroundings. I start to panic, and I try to shift my body so I can get up and turn on my room lights but I can’t get off my bed. I start to hear this female voice with this gaspy whisper in my right ear. It wasn’t that kind of erotic whispering ASMR thing that based boys get off to. This one felt evil. Whatever it was this female was saying, I couldn’t understand because it sounded like gibberish to me. My eye looks up and tries to look right behind me and all I can see is this female figure in torn grey rags floating close to my ceiling in my room. I can’t see her face, only her torso and her legs. She has grey skin and her arms and legs are long and dangly as she floats above me. She keeps repeating the same gibberish over and over again and I’m starting to freak out. I can’t scream at all. I start to finally get some of my movement but I can’t get up. I only tilt my body and fall off my bed where I still see and hear her saying that sinister gibberish over me. I feel like I’m screaming “HELP HELP!!!!” but I don’t feel my lips moving.

I wake up and catch my breath. I’m still on my bed and sleeping upright. That red hue from earlier is gone as is the grey floating girl. My sleep is ruined for the morning. I think that happened because I must have eaten dinner a little later than I usually do. I don’t think it’s a good idea to have any meal before going to bed. Normally, I’d like to do some cardio before I get ready for bed but I didn’t get to do that for the past few days. Just when I thought I was going on the right path after getting better and having that nice little dream, this happens to pull the rug out from my one moment of relief. Thanks I guess.
