Modern Trucks are FAKE and GAY
Being that I’m from Texas, I get the misfortune of not only seeing a lot of Tesla cars and trucks driving around but also those overly sized pickup trucks that look more spotless than my shitty old car. Driving around them is never a good experience. If they are behind you, they are trying to go 30 mph over the speed limit and tailgating you so close, the xeon headlights are blinding you from your rear mirrors. Alternatively, they are driving in front of you and you can’t see shit which is especially a problem when you are coming up on a red light. These sub-human morons usually drive through them and you don’t even know if the light is even green or yellow. I know I’m going to get a lot of shit from lolbertarians for calling them out but they are nuisance to society in my objective opinion. The same argument I made for AKs is the same argument I’ll make for these oversized luxury trucks. These people are larping as blue collar in order to appeal to the lowest common denominator troglodytes who see shiny thing and go “Oooooooooh”. For some reason, these people who drive these abominations think they are owning the libs. Good riddance, imagine having poor gas mileage just to make a political statement. Pathetic. I hate them as much as I hate All4 cuckovers...I mean crossovers.
And just like AKs before they were gentrified, when I was growing up, trucks were seen as the working man’s vehicle. It was cheap, like how used import AKs used to be. As a kid, you didn’t want to ride in a truck because it was cramped, uncomfortable, and there’s a stigma you get as a kid if you’re driven around in one at school. Riding around in a sedan or a compact SUV back then was the norm for the most part, even if you grew up in a rural town. Trucks back then were utility vehicles and they were better off that way. Honestly, a good beater truck would be a fine vehicle for a single man like myself. It can give you more job opportunities since there’s always a demand to carry something for someone (though you can arguably do the same with most cars like a hatchback or compact SUV if you fold the rear seats down). “But you’re a soyboy if you don’t like a manly man’s truck! LOOK HOW FUCKING BIG IT IS SON!” Our predecessors and people who used old models of trucks in the past did a lot of the work these people claim their oversized truck was made for on trucks that were smaller, more reliable, and arguably had a bigger bed than what modern trucks have now.
The most irritating thing about these luxury truck drivers is that they don’t even own their vehicles. They pull out these massive loans usually in the upper 80K to surpassing 100K in the most extreme cases. They are fooled into signing a loan that seems reasonable at first, like paying $200 bi weekly for a 30 year fix rate loan. My piece of shit Honda Civic from 05 is barely hanging on for dear life all these years later and somehow these morons expect their luxury Truck or Jeep to last more than 5 years? I’d imagine the quality control, made in the US, made in Mexico, made in Turkey, or even made in Japan doesn’t really mean anything when across the board modern automobiles are going through enshittification with more tacky features, spyware, and ass blasted engineering blunders that would make the design of the Tiger Tank seems streamlined. The moment you “buy” a new car, it immediately loses a huge chunk of it’s value the first time you turn the key on the ignition (or button if we’re being real here but you know what I mean).
Now what do you think happens when you’re reasonable $200 bi weekly payments is no longer sustainable when something minor happens like...oh I don’t know...you lose your job. What then? Now you’re going to get your car reposed for late payments which is not even going to eliminate your debt. On top of that, you’re either going to have to pay that off, have your wages garnished, or in the best case scenario, declare bankruptcy and have bad (social) credit score for about a decade. At least you can declare bankruptcy with car loans, unlike school loans but nobody educated me on how that all works. Honestly, I never really looked into how car loans worked until fairly recently and I have to admit, I’m relieved I didn’t fall for that scam in this scam economy.
But what if you don’t lose your job? Well now you have a piece of shit truck that’s already falling apart or completely undrivable and by some dumb luck you actually manage to pay it off in 30 years, what now? Was it worth signing the deal with the devil to flex on some city slickers or beta males who despise your vehicle. Trucks aren’t even fun vehicles to drive unless you’re off-roading and honestly there are better vehicles than that. More than likely, you’re not even doing that so you might as well save yourself a headache and financial turmoil in the future. Buying a used car is expensive these days but in the long term, it’s not that expensive assuming you aren’t getting scammed with a broken piece of shit like I had. Either have a good friend who’s a mechanic check it out for you before buying or do it the hard way when you have nobody and figure it out yourself.
Ideally, we’d be better off if we didn’t have cars. Maybe if our cities and neighborhoods weren’t built by idiots who played Sim City one time, then maybe it would be more feasible to buy a bike or an e-bike if you’re lazy. Hell, I wouldn’t mind walking if my town wasn’t built like shit. You can’t even go to some places because sidewalks are not available next to some roads.
Chances are, you probably wouldn’t be rich or stupid enough to fall for a Luxury truck scam but if you know someone who is, I’d warn them what they are getting into. The Epstein class gets away with a lot of things because it’s a system that is supported by banks, industry, and mass media. They all work together to ensure YOU keep buying next product, YOU keep making financial mistakes, and they take advantage of your stupidity. Not you the reader but just in general as a whole in terms of western countries. You cannot fight back with violence, the system is more than ready to handle that with an iron fist. But you can do as much harm to these oligarchs without breaking any rules if you avoid their grifts, and don’t partake in their games. That includes economy and commerce. Truck drivers like to think they are lolbertarian cowboys but they are really nothing more than foolish slaves with a consumerist addiction, no different from the funko pop collector with a STEM degree and swinger wife. Both slaves to debt because they refuse to disavow their delusions that buying new toys would make them happier.
